Weekly drama and performing arts classes for 4 to 18-year-olds in Geneva

Simply Theatre is Switzerland’s leading English-speaking drama and performing arts training company. Established in 2005, we strive to enrich lives and brighten futures through our weekly courses, summer holiday camps, and professional and academy productions.

Our unique and nurturing courses take place in English. Our weekly classes help children develop theatrical and acting skills, boost confidence, build life skills and create lasting friendships.

We are open for new student enrollments on our 2024-5 courses. Please find details of our 2024-5 Geneva timetable and term dates below. All 2024-5 weekly drama and performing arts classes in Geneva will begin the week commencing 9th September.

New 3-week bookable trial period

At Simply Theatre, fostering a love and enthusiasm for theatre lies at the heart of the opportunities we provide. We prioritise creating an environment where students actively seek to engage and find joy in their learning journey. Ensuring that our students genuinely want to be part of our courses and thoroughly enjoy their time with us is paramount.

Therefore, apart from our open-day taster classes held each spring (dates TBC), we do not offer standalone trial classes. Drawing from our experience, we understand that children require several weeks to determine if drama or performing arts classes are a year-round activity they wish to pursue.

With this in consideration, we offer a limited number of three-week trial spots on each course during the initial three weeks of the term. It’s important to note that these trial spots are restricted to a maximum of four per class and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for the three-week trials at the beginning of term 1 can be completed through our parent portal.

We have an exciting range of week-long drama and musical theatre courses running in Geneva during July and August this summer! Don’t miss drama and musical theatre camps for Mini Performers (ages 5 & 6), Young Performers (ages 7-11) and our senior Performers (12+).

All of our summer camp workshops are open to non-students too, so it can be a great way for friends to book a week together to experience what life is like at the Academy.
