Simply Theatre is Switzerland’s leading English-speaking theatre school and performing arts training company since 2005. We strive to enrich lives and brighten futures so that our drama and performing arts students can be confident, happy and reach their full potential. Our carefully tailored courses and nurturing approach not only develop key theatrical skills but help to boost confidence, build life skills and create lasting friendships. Due to popular demand, we are excited to be bringing our academy over the French border to launch in Annecy from September 2023.
Weekly Drama and Performing Arts Courses in Annecy
At Simply Theatre Academy Annecy, we plan to offer weekly courses in both Drama (acting only) and Performing Arts (acting, singing and dancing) for 4 to 18-year-olds. All of our academy courses have their own specially designed rolling curriculum. Our objective is to offer complete and exciting opportunities for those who may be with us for one or two years, whilst also providing life-long learning based on a rich set of contrasting experiences for our long-term students. Summer Camps in Annecy
Simply Summer! is our series of holiday courses at the Academy from June to August each summer for ages 4 to 18. Our week-long drama and performing arts workshops offer children an opportunity to work with experienced theatre practitioners specialising in acting, vocal coaching, choreography and even stage combat and movie-making! Our expert tutors come from across the world of theatre and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience with our students, to create workshops that are simply wonderful. Simply Theatre Productions
Our magical theatre productions are the icing on the cake, broadening our student’s cultural experiences and providing high-quality theatre to English-speaking audiences. Our academy productions feature student actors from Simply Theatre Academy. Professionally directed, they stretch young talent to deliver electrifying performances. Our Professional shows for young people and families bring a slice of the West End to Switzerland each year, and we hope to extend our offer to Annecy this coming year too. At Simply Theatre our courses are designed for life-long development of performance skills, life skills, confidence and cultural awareness. Whilst the skills developed in the drama and dance studio are essential for acting and performance, they can also be used well beyond the stage, for whatever roles you will play in life.
