Showtime

Showtime at the Academy is a truly spectacular affair with Academy productions having achieved a strong reputation for producing full scale musicals and plays to the highest of standards, regularly selling out in its top professional theatre venues.

These audition based productions showcase a selection of the Academy’s top talent, offering those students the fantastic opportunity to work with professional directors, choreographers, vocal coaches and many other theatre practitioners. They also get to perform in professional theatres and on occasion even head to the Edinburgh Fringe to perform for audiences there.... a truly magical experience!

Simply Theatre Academy also provides all of its students with a variety of non audition based performance opportunities throughout the year, to ensure that each and every student receives the benefits from performing for a live audience on a variety of levels to suit their needs/level/ability. We achieve this by ensuring that students regularly perform for one another in class, have the chance to perform in our studio theatre via our regular ‘open mic’ nights, and work with all Academy classes to produce their own showcases towards the end of each year.
