drama 4 - 17

Weekly drama courses are set against a background of theatre games, drama exercises and structured movement, through which our students begin to discover the key components of an actor's training, in a fun, progressive and structured way.

Our courses cater differently for each age group, introducing our students to a variety of areas and disciplines associated with theatre and the performing arts. Each session at the Academy is fun, engaging, creative and developmental, ensuring that we meet the needs of both the group and the individual.

Taking part in weekly drama sessions means that teachers are able to really get to know students, identifying strengths and weaknesses and enabling them to nurture each individual towards their full potential.

During the academic year, students receive written feedback assessing their progress, strengths and areas for focus. Students aged 9+ will also have the opportunity to take LAMDA exams in acting at the end of the academic year.

The only thing that we ask our students to bring along to each session at the Academy is enthusiasm and a passion for learning more about theatre, acting and the performing arts.
