There is such a rich variety of exciting weekly courses on offer at the Academy, that there is something to suit everyone.
Whether you want to do a one off workshop, summer school, or weekly course, just have some fun, wish to learn new skills, build your confidence, learn skills to help your career, or are serious about a profession in the theatre, there is a course to meet your needs.
Whilst the skills that our students develop in class are essential for acting and performance, they also take them well beyond the stage, developing and enhancing skills vital for life. This is really the foundation upon which the Academy's whole philosophy stands; to not only help our students to train for the theatre, but to assist them in their education for life, wherever it may take them.
At the end of the first term, all weekly Academy students are offered feedback in the form of a written report. We also offer 'open classes' at the end of the first term, so that parents may observe a live Academy class and their child in action. Towards the end of the year, all students are given the opportunity to perform in a showcase for friends and family. This offers a great performance opportunity and the chance to put into practice the skills developed in the year. It also provides the chance for parents to see some of the material students have been working on in class.
