Course Aims:
• To nurture leadership talent through the development of the communication skills of voice, body language and storytelling.
• To improve confidence at delivering communication objectives in front of differing audiences.

Module 1: Improvisation for Business Teams
The first three lessons in improvisation are listening, accepting, and developing other people’s ideas. These are ideal skills for the business leader. In business and in life, we are typically trained to find fault and reject ideas presented by others, and offer a completely different alternative. This workshop is great for generating team spirit as well as becoming a more inspirational and motivating leader.

Module 2: The Voice & Communication for Leaders
Working with a top voice coach from one of London’s finest drama schools, the student will get an introduction to the voice. Topics will be introductory and include breath and posture, dynamic articulation, volume and projection, Vocal Status.

Module 3 : Body Language
Awareness and control of Body language. Introduction of status as a tool to control body language. Role play exercises (eg interviewing) to practice use to status.

Module 4: Introduction to storytelling
Remembering a story is much easier than a set of facts. Watch any inspiration leader perform and you will realize how they influence you through stories. This workshop introduces leaders to the art of using stories to pull and entice their audience towards their point of view rather than push and persuade them using facts & powerpoint presentations.
